Happy Birthday, Battle Ground!

We really can’t believe this. We launched our first novel, Battle Ground, at London Olympia FIVE WHOLE YEARS AGO on a frighteningly hot and humid day at YALC.

😲 FIVE YEARS!! 😲

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has bought, read, reviewed and told other people about the book and the series. It has been an amazing five years of writing, promoting, meeting new readers – and winning two international awards. Thank you all for your support and encouragement. 🧡

Taller Books has come a long way in five years. Seven books in the Battle Ground Series (plus a free novella), a standalone LGBTQ+ novel, Angels, a children’s picture book, an indie author editing service, and sponsorship of the Foreword Festival UK.

Here’s to the next five!

The day after …

This the Taller Books team today. It’s been an amazing weekend of #AtHomeYALC events, and now we need to sleep off the exhaustion . . .

Hopefully we’ll be back in London for YALC 2022 – come and visit us on the Taller Books stand! It’s a brilliant event. Just make sure you bring book money, comfortable shoes, and plenty of strong bags for your book haul …

YALC postponement

I’m so sorry to hear that YALC won’t be going ahead this year. It’s undoubtedly the right decision, but I’ll miss meeting readers and talking books and politics all day! Put July 23-25 2021 in your diaries instead – I’ll see you there! ❤️

Battle Ground Reviews

Wow!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported ‘Battle Ground’! We published a week ago, and so far the book has been the Amazon number one free download in three different categories, reached number 41 in paid YA Dystopia, and collected some amazing reviews. We’ve been to YALC, and met readers and writers who are passionate about YA, and excited to read our post-Brexit dystopia. We’ve sent ‘Battle Ground’ on a blog tour. Amazon ratings are at 4.8 stars.

We’re exhausted, but ‘Battle Ground‘ is finally live on Amazon.

Battle Ground: Countdown to Publication

We are very excited to announce that Battle Ground, Book 1 of the Battle Ground series, will be launching on Amazon in 7 days!

From July 25th, Kindle and paperback editions will be available to buy direct from Amazon – and from July 25th-28th, the Kindle edition will be FREE to download.

We will be at the Young Adult Literary Convention to launch the book, so if you’re coming to YALC this year make sure you come and say hi!

Battle Ground will be going on a blog tour from July 25th, so check out these book blogs for reviews and write-ups.
